Classic Grilled Chicken Recipe by the BBQ Pit Boys

There’s no better eating than barbecue chicken served hot off the grill. Watch the BBQ Pit Boys show you how easy it is to make a classic chicken marinade and mopping sauce and then use it to grill up some real tasty and juicy chicken. They also demonstrate the technique called the “indirect grilling method” for this old-time barbecue chicken recipe.

You think the coals might be ‘right’ after four hours of marinading. I like the egg marinade and I would marinade overnight. Looks good….try Bok Choy grilled with this,…its great.

Made this last weekend. The vinegar was a little in front of the other flavors, so I think next time I’ll try red wine vinegar, and one cup instead of two. I added some Montreal steak seasoning and lemon pepper right after taking it out of the marinade, as well. My wife and daughter liked it, and they’re picky eaters. Thanks for a great series, Boys!

I love BBQ, I dont care what everyone says but I love that BBQ stuff. Everything BBQ. Ribs, Chicken, Beef, Steaks, Duck, Turkey, Rabbit, Lamb, Goat, Fish, Squid, Shrimp, Scallops, Oysters, Cat, Dog, Snakes, Raccoons, Monkeys, Donkeys, etc. WTF???? Ooooppppsss Sorry, I got carried away. I just heard the horse in the background. Maybe he’s next on the BBQ. LOL.

@ticogringo77 AAAAACTUALLY (just felt like saying it like that), but yeah some marinades, rubs, toppings, sauces, etc… come out better as “Chard” especially as long as the meat inside maintains its moisture, youre forming a lining to hold the juices and marinaded flavor inside, so the heat and steam forms to cook it, and as long as the char has a flavor that lends itself good to the charring its an awesome taste and texture

I tried the chicken with the marinade, everything tasted like apple cider vinegar. How do you get rid of the vinegar taste??
    Thanks.

sure they do – the dude with the glasses spills raw chicken on to the board, wipes it all over with a paper napkin, then later puts the knife & fork on the board. Anyone for salmonella?
