I am over cautious. I fear handling the meat and wiping on a towel is an invitation to spread salmonella. You could smear some germs from the towel on a drawer or stove handle and then later get it on hands and unknowingly spread it to plates or table surface or knife and fork. I suggest always keep sink of hot soapy water handy when handling raw meats of any kind. That way you needn’t even touch the faucet handles with hands. Wash, wash, wash, after every contact with meat. Thanks for video.
